of art education (obtained secondary school qualification) at Humboldt

University in Berlin.

An art professional in the Center of Culture in Berlin-Friedrichshain.

1990–1995

The head of the gallery in Berlin-Friedrichshain.

The head of a creative workshop – Glatzkasten (Berlin-Friedrichshain).

1999

From that time, he was only a free-lance artist and traveller. In that period,

thanks to his ambitious dilligence, every year he created  several art cycles.

The woodcut technique, which he had fancied during his studies, became

his main long-life method of expression.

2003

In 2003 he accepted the invitation of his longtime friend Andrej Bielak

to stay in his studio in Vranov u Brna during summer. There, during that

summer and the following few years, the author created the essential graphic

works of his late production. We could admire his woodcuts at a large number

of exhibitions all around South Moravia (Brno, Vranov u Brna, Jevišovice,

Vranovice, Mikulov, Valtice, Pavlov).

2005

In 2005 the Vranov Municipality issued its first village calendar of his art prints

featuring Vranov. In summer 2010 in Vranov u Brna he created his last art cycle.

In South Moravia, he spent in total more than two years of his creative life.

2013

He died in 2013 and is buried in a small cemetery on the edge of Berlin

in the village of Schulzendorf.
